Program Summary

Nobody enters the legal profession expecting to end up on the wrong side of a disciplinary board—but the reality is, even well-meaning attorneys can find themselves in hot water. This fast-paced, eye-opening CLE explores how everyday decisions, oversights, and shortcuts can spiral into serious disciplinary actions. Using real-world examples and disciplinary outcomes, we’ll explore the most frequent ethical missteps attorneys make—from trust account mismanagement to communication breakdowns and misleading advertising. You’ll learn how to recognize red flags, implement preventive strategies, and align your practice with the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct. Whether you’re new to the profession or a seasoned attorney, this course offers essential insights to keep your license—and your integrity—intact.
