Dr. Robin Lange is the Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of UCEBT.
The Case Load Is Emotionally Demanding. Your Effectiveness Depends on Managing It
Disability representatives and attorneys face a unique set of challenges: managing emotionally demanding cases, navigating complex systems, maintaining professional effectiveness, and preventing burnout. This session addresses those challenges directly, with an educational experience focused on mental health, wellness, and burnout prevention.
The stakes are professional as much as personal. Emotionally demanding work erodes effectiveness when it goes unmanaged. Burnout ends careers that stress management could have sustained. Professional sustainability is not a luxury in high-demand work environments — it is what keeps a representative able to serve clients at all.
The session draws on UCEBT's work providing resiliency training, burnout prevention education, and psychological support services that help professionals thrive in high-demand environments. Dr. Lange will highlight professional sustainability, resilience, stress management, and maintaining effectiveness in emotionally demanding work — and you walk out with those tools in hand.
